dc.description.abstract | This newspaper article reports about pyrethrum licenses to buyers in Tanzania. The Tanzania Pyrethrum Board (TPB) came under fire for denying other buyers licenses to buy the crop during 2011/2012 buying season. Farmers have shown doubts over the board’s decision. The coming of other players in the pyrethrum buying market has raised pyrethrum price from 700/= to 1800/=. The government was argued to intervene in order to rescue the situation. | en_US |
