dc.description.abstractThis newspaper article reports about role of private sector in oil and gas economy in Tanzania. The parliamentary committee on economic affairs, industry and trade asked the government to stop downplaying the role of Tanzania’s private sector in the country’s oil and gas economy. The chairperson of the committee, made the call when contributing to the debate of budget estimates of the ministry of industry and trade. It is revealed that Tanzanians can participate in investing in gas economy if the conducive environment to support them will be build.en_US
